What size for a necklace?
Maélia necklaces are available in a variety of lengths to suit different styles and personal preferences.
Each of our necklaces offers size flexibility thanks to an extension chain or multiple closure rings integrated into the piece.
Our favorites at Maélia:
- The choker necklace (35 cm / 14 inches): Worn at the base of the neck, offering a distinctive and bold style. Perfect to wear alone or combined with other necklaces for a layered effect.
- The princess necklace (40 cm / 16 inches): Rests at the collarbones. This length harmonizes perfectly with various necklines and clothing styles.
- The matinee necklace (45 cm / 18 inches): Falls on the upper bust. It is an ideal choice for a wide variety of necklines, including turtlenecks.
What size for a bracelet?
The ideal size of your bracelet depends on the type of jewelry and the desired comfort. At Maélia, we offer several types of bracelets:
- Adjustable bracelet: Suitable for most wrists, these feature an extender chain allowing you to easily adjust the size for a custom fit.
- Standard women's bracelet: Available in sizes ranging from 15 to 20 cm (6’’ to 8’’)
- Standard men's bracelet: Available in sizes ranging from 20 to 22 cm (8’’-9’’)
Tips for measuring your wrist
Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist where you want to wear the bracelet. Make sure it lies flat against your skin, without being too tight, and take the measurement.
No measuring tape? No problem! Use a strip of paper and wrap it around your wrist. Mark the spot where the two ends meet, then use a ruler to measure that length.
For a looser fit, add 1 to 2 cm (or 1/2 to 3/4 inch) to your measurement. This will give you a little extra room for optimal comfort.
What is the ring size?
Finding the right ring size is essential for comfort and security. Use a measuring tape or a ring sizer to determine your size.
Tips for measuring your finger size
Wrap a flexible measuring tape around the base of your finger. Ensure it is not too tight. Then, note the measurement.
If you do not have a measuring tape, use a strip of paper. Wrap it around the base of your finger, mark the point where the strip meets, then measure that length with a ruler.
Your finger size may vary slightly throughout the day. Therefore, make sure to measure at the right time, when your fingers are not too swollen.
