We place great importance on the selection of our raw materials, in particular quality natural and semi-precious stones.
Furthermore, in an effort to minimize our environmental footprint and support local suppliers, Laurène prioritizes the use of locally sourced materials and raw materials, while minimizing reliance on suppliers far from our workshop.
We also ensure that our packaging and shipping are as eco-friendly as possible, prioritizing the use of recyclable materials and reusable pouches.

Behind Maélia is Laurène, a lover of jewelry, gemstones, and the art of fine jewelry.
“My unconditional love for jewelry and everything that sparkles naturally guided me toward this choice of the heart: making this passion an essential part of my life.
I started creating my first Maélia pieces at home, then honed my practice and knowledge at the benches of the Montreal School of Jewelry.
Every piece of jewelry I create is the result of passion and long, meticulous work. I sincerely hope you feel as much happiness wearing them as I had imagining and crafting them.
